As a researcher
I’m an anthropologist who switched to UX after my master’s degree studies in techno-anthropology. I have always been interested in humans, how they perceive the world and why they behave in a certain way.
I love experimenting with different methodologies to find the best fit for the project’s needs. I am the most experienced in interviews and usability testing (moderated and unmoderated). However, I have also worked with diary studies, contextual inquiries, card sorting, surveys, and digital mapping. I’m always open to learning new methods and analysis approaches.
As a researcher, I have worked in pairs with other researchers and alone. However, even if I can work alone on a product, it’s always beneficial to have the possibility to discuss research with a fellow researcher.
As a colleague – I’m helpful and understanding. I have learned that team’s success is more important than my personal. I always try to understand how each stakeholder is working and thinking so I can better adjust my work style and we can reach our common goals. My master’s studies were project- and teamwork-based, so I learned to work in teams with different backgrounds. This experience helped me collaborate better with stakeholders during my UX research work.
As a lecturer
I give remote lectures on consumer behaviour for marketing students. It’s related to my education and job but is different. I did my best to dig deeper into the topic and constantly think about improving my lectures, especially considering they are remote ones.
As a human being
Life forced me to slow down and pay attention more to myself, so self-healing and connecting with myself have become one of my most prominent leisure activities (e.g., meditations, breathwork, yoga, psychology). Besides, I love exploring food, places, and various cultures and regularly visiting cultural events.
Even if I’m introverted, I highly value my friends, colleagues, and research participants and try to handle them with empathy.
